David Wexler

David Wexler, CLU, ChFC

David Wexler, CLU, ChFC, started in the life insurance business as an agent for the Home Life Insurance Company of New York in Denver, Colorado. David has worked as an advanced underwriter for the Executive Compensation Group, Inc., The Wallace Financial Group and The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States. From 1989 to 2001, David served as the COO and then CEO of the Holleman Companies. In 2001, David became a founding partner of Greenberg, Wexler, & Eig, LLC. David has been affiliated with M Financial Group firms since 1987.

David is a recognized technical authority on the use of life insurance in personal financial security/risk management, succession planning, executive benefits and wealth transfer funding. He has served as an expert witness, and has been a main platform speaker at the American Society of Pension Actuaries, several M Financial Group marketing meetings and the Washington DC Estate Planning Council. David has been a guest lecturer at the George Washington School of Law where he has spoken about the uses of life insurance in estate planning. David has been on the faculty of the Georgetown University Continuing Legal Education Wealth Management Summit. He has published numerous articles in industry and trade journals.

David has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Denver. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from the American College and has certificates in Personal Insurance Planning and Business Insurance Planning from the Life Underwriters Training Council.

David is a member of the Association of Advanced Life Underwriting, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the American Society of Financial Services Professionals and the Washington DC Estate Planning Council. David is currently the President of the Washington, DC Estate Planning Council, is a member of the Professional Advisory Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington Endowment Fund. He is a past the chairman of the Estate Journal Club of the Suburban Hospital Foundation and currently a Trustee and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Suburban Hospital Foundation Board. David has organized and successfully promoted several charity golf tournaments.

David is an avid golfer, a collector of wine and shells, and a sometime musician. David has one son, Jeffrey who is a rising college junior. David and his wife Marge live in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
